Purpose of the tools
Controls Tools supports education and exploration of HVAC controls and building automation concepts. The simulators use simplified teaching models; the I/O Planner is a work-in-progress planning prototype.
Review before application
Users should check assumptions, input units, project requirements, and manufacturer documentation before applying a result. Calculation methods and limitations are documented on each tool page. Product placeholders are not equipment selections.
